Engineer - Mechanical
Mechanical Tech/MillwrightA successful candidate will be responsible for performing mechanical work in support of the many functions performed by MPE.
Responsibilities Disassemble/reassemble machines Assess components Repair and replace parts Rig machine tools and or components Align Machines Service machine tool equipment Qualifications and Skills Excellent mechanical aptitude, millwright certification and/or similar industrial experience Familiarity with machine tool applications & design Ability to read fabrication and assembly drawings Familiarity with function of valves, pumps, motors, bearings, gear systems, understanding of hydraulic systems, mechanical troubleshooting skills 3 years of related experience, willingness to learn; additional training opportunities will be provided Ability to use precision measuring equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment Excellent verbal & written communication skills Positive attitude Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Willingness to travel is a non-negotiable requirement:

travel likely, trip durations are project-dependent and vary significantly, travel requirements do not extend beyond Monday-Friday, majority of travel is within 150 miles of MPE's facility.
